FACULTY OF SOCIAL SCIENCES
As Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, I am pleased to introduce it to the students, their parents and the general observers. Sohail University is a general university which, apart from having a number of health related faculties and departments, has a separate Faculty of Social Sciences. By now Faculty has been allowed by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to open its two programs Development Studies and Economics. The Sohail University has also applied for MPhil and PhD programs in Social Sciences. Sohail University’s Faculty of Social Sciences offers the state of the art courses, and follows modern techniques of imparting knowledge. It also ensures creating critical thinking among the students through its courses and the manner in which these are conducted. The Faculty uses modern techniques of teaching with the objective of preparing the students to be able to serve the society in the most productive and professional manner. The environment of study at the campus is student friendly, creative and suitable for creating an urge for knowledge among the students. It is our pride that most of our faculty members are highly educated and have obtained their degrees from Pakistan’s prime institutions of higher learning and from abroad. Message by Dean
