Research Interest

  • I am deciphering underlying molecular mechanisms of risk factors in etiology & pathophysiology of cancer, metabolic & neurological diseases. My published work explains how advanced glycation end products play role in the development of diabetes, metabolic syndrome & Alzheimer’s diseases? The motivation is to enhance civic knowledge & to shape government policies on preventive interventions that will consequently reduce the burden of aforementioned diseases at national level. Advance cell culture, molecular & cell biology techniques are routinely practiced in our research.

Keywords

  • Metabolic diseases, signal transduction, inflammation, oxidative stress, advanced glycation end products
