BS Orientation Ceremony

Sohail University started the academic session with Orientation Ceremony of BS Batch-1 (Bio-Technology & Medical Technology). Which took place on January 07, 2020. Students attended the session with great zeal. They were explained about the personal opportunities, growth and universities rules and regulations by their respective head of departments. Students also explored the university. At the end Q&A’s session was conducted where students asked their queries from faculty. Moreover, a commemorative group photo of new students was also taken.

PCP Certification

Another achievement for S.M. Sohail Trust to have received PCP certification. The Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) Certification Programme seeks to bring transparency, accountability and good supremacy in the non-profit sector in Pakistan. It involves the evaluation of a non-profit organization on standardized limitations of internal governance, financial management and programme delivery.

Today is World Blood Donor Day (WBDD) and, Sohail University / Jinnah Medical and Dental College (JMDC) / Medicare Cardiac & General Hospital (MCGH) thank all Heroes (blood donors) to donate blood and make the world a healthy place.

Rizvi, Head of Department (HOD) Neurosurgery – Medicare Cardiac & General Hospital (MC&GH), joins the ranks of several other illustrious and outstanding Surgeons as the proud recipient of Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow.

Congratulates Sameer Tebha

Sohail University Congratulates Sameer Tebha, 4th-year student of Jinnah Medical & Dental College for being selected to present at the Medical Student Neurological Surgery Research Symposium organized by Weill Cornell Medicine, Department of Neurological Surgery. This is the First International Research Symposium for Medical Students in Neurosurgery. Sameer Tebha of JMDC is honored to be shortlisted and to present his “Poster Presentation” on “Management of Failed Back Surgery Syndrome and Healthcare Burden: A Mini Systematic Review” among 25 U.S. Medical Schools and 6 Countries internationally at the Weill Cornell Medicine, New York City, USA.
