Year 2019, witnessed a very large number of Polio cases in Pakistan. Polio Eradication is every body’s duty. All of us have to play our role, was said by Professor Dr. S.M. Inkisar Ali. Jinnah Medical College Hospital, Department of Pediatrics, arranged a Polio awareness program on 6th March 2020 for staff in collaboration with EPI Sindh. The audience consisted of faculty doctors, paramedics,nursing staff and non-medical employees from all the departments in order to enhance the awareness on community level. 6-March-2020
Department of ENT,conducted two days ENT Camp on 6th March 2020 at Jinnah Medical College Hospital to facilitate free check-up for hearing impaired patients. More than 100 visitors visited the camp and were provided with a Free Medical facility. 6-March-2020
Jinnah Medical & Dental College / Sohail University hosted its 2nd Annual Research Symposium on 25th Feb 2020 which highlighted diverse research conducted in various disciplines on campus. One of the main objectives of the Annual Research Symposium is to disseminate new knowledge acquired through research conducted by final year MBBS students under faculty supervision. Debate competition on “online classes are better than physical classes”
A debate competition on “Online classes are better than physical classes” was arranged among JCN students of Generic BSN semester-I and Semester-III. English lecturer, Ms. Naeema Bakhat arranged this debate competition on 10th March 2021 at Mumtaz Uddin Haider Auditorium. One jury member, Mrs.Ghazala Tariq joined through a “Zoom meeting” while the other two attended the debate physically. The students of semester-I won the competition. The students from semester III who were debating for the motion run the competition. Results were announced by Mr. Zafar Iqbal and certificates were distributed by Major Munazza Parveen (Rtd). In the end, Mr. Muhammad Fayyaz Awan concluded the session with his expert linguistic and educational views.
