Sohail University and Department of Physical Therapy started the academic session with Orientation Ceremony of BS Batch-1 (Bio-Technology & Medical technology) and DPT Batch-2 which took place on January 07, 2020. Students attended the session with great zeal. They were explained about the personal opportunities, growth and universities rules and regulations by their respective head of department. They also explored the university. At the end Q&A’s session was conducted where students asked their queries from faculty. During the tough time on the state, our frontline warriors put their lives in danger to save others in the battle against COVID-19. Our specialized doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff provided awareness to the general public with respective knowledge of their fields through social media platforms. Notices and informative flyers about social distancing, wearing masks, have also been posted on the premises of organization for the public to follow WHO / Govt. SOP’s.
Debate competition on “online classes are better than physical classes”
A debate competition on “Online classes are better than physical classes” was arranged among JCN students of Generic BSN semester-I and Semester-III. English lecturer, Ms. Naeema Bakhat arranged this debate competition on 10th March 2021 at Mumtaz Uddin Haider Auditorium. One jury member, Mrs.Ghazala Tariq joined through a “Zoom meeting” while the other two attended the debate physically. The students of semester-I won the competition. The students from semester III who were debating for the motion run the competition. Results were announced by Mr. Zafar Iqbal and certificates were distributed by Major Munazza Parveen (Rtd). In the end, Mr. Muhammad Fayyaz Awan concluded the session with his expert linguistic and educational views.
