Introduction
Sohail University successfully conducted a two-day Review of Institutional Performance and Enhancement (RIPE) visit on 13–14 November 2025 as part of the Institutional Performance Enhancement Report (IPER) process. The visit aimed to evaluate the University’s compliance with the 16 RIPE standards for Internal and External Quality Assurance and to identify areas of strength and improvement for sustained institutional effectiveness.

Key Highlights of the Visit
The review team assessed Sohail University against all 16 RIPE standards, supported by documentary evidence and extensive stakeholder interactions.
The University demonstrated strong alignment of its vision and mission with its charter and showed proactive internal quality initiatives, including IQC, CQI mechanisms, UMS, and Outcome-Based Education (OBE) practices.
Campus infrastructure, including health sciences laboratories, classrooms, library, examination facilities, hostels, sports areas, and day-care centre, was found to be well-equipped and well-maintained.
Commendable practices included high standards of hygiene, gender-balanced academic leadership, AI-based simulation laboratories, and adequate staffing levels across academic and administrative units.
The review identified areas for improvement related to strategic planning oversight, policy documentation, governance compliance, employee retention, examination systems, accreditation archiving, and institutional capacity building.
