Department of ENT,conducted two days ENT Camp on 6th March 2020 at Jinnah Medical College Hospital to facilitate free check-up for hearing impaired patients. More than 100 visitors visited the camp and were provided with a Free Medical facility. 6-March-2020
Jinnah Medical & Dental College / Sohail University hosted its 2nd Annual Research Symposium on 25th Feb 2020 which highlighted diverse research conducted in various disciplines on campus. One of the main objectives of the Annual Research Symposium is to disseminate new knowledge acquired through research conducted by final year MBBS students under faculty supervision. Undergraduate Research Preject Presentations were graded as follows: 1st Prize Tiltle: Interventional Study Regrading Awareness of Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C among prison inmates in Malir Jail Karachi. 103 Heroes (Blood Donors) donated their blood in the event held on 20th Feb 2020 at Jinnah Medical & Dental College (JMDC) / Sohail University / Medicare Cardiac & General Hospital. Students of MBBS, BDS, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) & Bachelor of Science with faculty and staff participated with high spirits in a blood drive. This event was held on Thursday with titled “Every Blood Donor is a HERO” in collaboration with Saylani Welfare Trust, where 103 blood bags were collected, while last year 100 donors had donated their blood. Later on, Medical Director Dr. Fadieleh A. Sohail distributed the trophy to the position holders, where MBBS II student got 1st position, DPT II 2nd & BDS IV was on third position. 20-Feb-2020
The Faculty and Staff of Sohail University, Jinnah Medical & Dental College (Basic Sciences Departments onlv), Jinnah College of Physical Therapy, Jinnah College of Rehabilitation Sciences, Jinnah College of Nursing, Department of Biomedical and Biological Sciences, Department of Social Sciences, IHSR, Department of Examination, Department of Human Resource, School of Computing & Information Sciences, Faculty of Management Sciences, Department of Medical Education, Jinnah College of Pharmacy, Department of Quality Enhancement Cell, Sports Department and Library will observe holiday on Tuesday, April 4th 2023 on account of death anniversary of former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. • However, Korangi campus will remain open and Faculty/Staff will observe their normal schedule. • First and Fourth year MBBS exams will take place as per schedule. • Faculty/Transport on exam duty will be required to be present.
